Director of Color Marketing, The Americas Group
Sue is a color expert for The Americas Group, responsible for the company’s overall philosophy of color leadership and overseeing world color trend forecasting.
She began her career at Sherwin-Williams in 1998 as an interior designer and color marketing specialist. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in interior design from the Cleveland Institute of Art, Sue is active in the Color Marketing Group, the Color Association of the United States, Inter-Society Color Council, the American Society of Interior Design and the Interior Design Society.
Director, Color Marketing and Design Studio, The Americas Group
Michael and his team provide color and design solutions for The Americas Group, serving field representatives and more than 4,200 stores throughout North America. Under his lead, the group handles photo imaging, custom color cards and customized design schemes.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute, Michael began as a designer and centered his career on color, pattern and surface design for the home décor market.
Color Marketing Manager, Color Marketing and Design Studio, The Americas Group
Emily oversees commercial design, including healthcare, hospitality and commercial market segments. With more than 10 years of interior design experience, Emily creates and delivers presentations about trends and services, and designs color and interior concepts.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in interior design from the University of Akron. A LEED-accredited professional, she holds EDAC accreditation and is an NCIDQ-certified designer. She is a member of the American Association of Interior Designers and an industry member of the International Interior Design Association.
Marketing Manager, Tinted Products and Color Services, Brazil, The Americas Group
Patrícia has responsibility for tinted products and color management, as well as home centers and paint dealers. She also assists with color systems, color palettes and merchandising; tracks design trends; and provides training and new business development assistance.
With over 20 years with the company, Patrícia has completed many projects in Brazil and now oversees color projects in Argentina and Chile as well. She has a degree in business administration and a master’s in marketing.
Director, Global Color and Design, Industrial Wood Coatings, Performance Coatings Group
Lauren is responsible for global color, design and marketing efforts for kitchen cabinets, furniture, building products, flooring, architectural millwork and specialty wood product market segments. Along with a team of color stylists, she oversees color trend and lifestyle monitoring, research and analysis to assist customers around the world in selecting coatings for retail appeal.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in interior design from Radford University and is an executive vice president with the International Society of Furniture Designers and an associate member of the Interior Design Society.
Global CMF and Trend Manager, Industrial Design Segments, Performance Coatings Group
Kiki leads color and trend initiatives for Sherwin-Williams Design Segments and the Industrial Coatings Division, collaborating across industries on color and trends.
With a master’s in trend forecasting, Kiki has brought visionary expertise in color, material and finish to interior and industrial design companies in more than 12 countries. A member of the Color Marketing Group, her work has impacted products from consumer goods to cars, cabinets, coatings, clothing and cosmetics.
Color Marketing Manager, Consumer Brands Group
Sue has a passion for seeing color through the landscape of lifestyle trends, capturing livable colors at home. In addition to building a new color shopping experience globally, she has been responsible for Valspar’s annual color trend forecasting for the past 10-plus years.
She holds two Bachelor of Art and Design degrees in industrial design and graphic design from the University of Illinois at Chicago and transitioned to the color designer role to focus on color and trends after exploring design solutions as a product designer.
Senior Color Designer, Consumer Brands Group
Ashley has a responsibility to support retail brands in paint, aerosol and stains in the DIY and Pro industry. Always inspired by culture, media, fashion and design – her expertise translating global lifestyle trends through color gives consumer’s confidence in the color selection process.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Kent State University. With over 10 years of experience in the design community she is a NCIDQ certified designer, a LEED accredited professional and an active member of Color Marketing Group.
Designer Marketing Manager, Southwestern Division, The Americas Group
Karen supports the residential interior designer market with color and paint specifications, ensuring they remain up to date with the latest color tools and trends. She also provides continuing education courses and webinars to hundreds of interior designers and industry partners throughout the year. She is on the Color Forecast Team and manages the Southwestern Division design account executive team.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Ball State University.
Designer Marketing Manager, Southeastern Division, The Americas Group
Sabina is a marketing manager for Sherwin-Williams, supporting the designer market with color and paint specifications. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Paier College of Art in interior design. Sabina was a senior designer in the field of architecture for 15 years, and she is an allied member of ASID and a member of the Color Marketing Group and IDS. She currently manages the Southeastern Division design account executive team for Sherwin-Williams.
Marketing Manager, Midwestern Division, The Americas Group
Carson has more than 20 years’ experience in the paints and coatings industry. In his role, he oversees the color and specification resources for architect and design accounts. Carson worked in the Chicago market for six years as the Sherwin-Williams architectural account executive. His other experiences include store manager, estimator and commercial sales representative.
Carson has a business marketing degree from Eastern Illinois University. He holds certifications as a NACE Level 1 inspector and a CSI Construction Document Technologist.
Director, Architecture and Design, The Americas Group, Canada
Mariusz has more than 20 years’ experience in the paints and coatings industry in Canada. He supports the marketing initiatives for the residential designer/architect community and manages a team of five designer and architectural account executives. He held multiple positions previously as a color specialist, assistant manager, market manager, field coatings representative and sales manager. He also provides technical support, continuing education courses and webinars to hundreds of interior designers/architects and industry partners throughout the year.
Designer Marketing Manager, Eastern Division, The Americas Group
Kendall supports the marketing initiatives for the residential designer and architect community and manages a team of nine designer account executives. She provides designers and architects with color and paint specifications, as well as continuing education courses.
Over Kendall’s eight-year tenure with the company, she has held positions as a management trainee, assistant manager, market manager, field sales representative and designer account executive. Kendall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Stockton University.
